Handcrafted carved wooden vase made from the combination of Birdseye Maple and Blackwood.
This beautiful, one-of-a-kind vase features strong elegant lines and has a bit of a dramatic presence to it. Perfect for that spot in your home that needs a pop of elegance. Will draw the eyes and compliments!
My sculptural vases feature creative artisan styling, accomplished entirely through hand working and shaping of the material, and impeccable finishing. I strive to create visual interest in my pieces that grab the eye differently from varying angles of perspective.
The pictured floral arrangement is included with this vase. I have a special place in my heart in the floral aspect of these vases as my father was a florist and owned a flower shop that I lived above growing up. There is definitely a labor of love aspect of these creations for me. Every little arrangement is hand done by me and paired with the vase.
The flowers are real dried flowers and will last a couple years with proper handling.
If you want to make your own mini-arrangements just grab some dried or silk flowers of your own and let your creative energy go! Only requirement is that the vase is for dried flowers. No water. See my wet vases for fresh flowers.
I also have additional mini-arrangements for sale in my shop. I think it’s nice to rotates out the flowers as your mood or season inspires you to!
Once you get one of my vases, I think you might be hooked!
Also could be used as incense holder.
Dimensions for just the vase (does not include flowers in the dimensions):
Length: approx 1.75“ at widest point.
Width: approx 1.5” at widest point.
Height: approx 5” at tallest point
Hole is approx 2” deep at ¼” diameter.
The vase will last a lifetime and not need additional care, other than perhaps wiping it with a soft cotton cloth to remove fingerprints. Keep it dry, again no fresh flowers. All wood species change color over time, some very subtly, some dramatically (this is just a natural process). Direct sunlight will tend to speed that process up a bit.
The dried flowers should last a few years if left undisturbed. Again, sunlight may slightly change bloom colors over time as is natural.
